Updates on WIPS and new start(s)

Boo!

I have been disappearing~~~ I know!  I have been nursing my tooth so now I can eat my favorite crispy rice again woohoo! My Macbook gone wild the day before yesterday and as a result I had to spent the whole day queuing at Apple store to get it fixed. Not a pleasure experience at all. Despite from that, I think I did a good job with stitching. So here you go, stitching summary of May:

Yes, she is nearly finished, 8 more pages to go. Have no idea why this blog makes her so grey, should be beautiful dreamy baby blue! Hopefully I can get her done in June!

Not done much on this recently, I was too busy stitching Daenerys! But hey, I got the owl done. i am not sure I will come back to this piece anytime soon because I found way too many distraction including these new starts:

Updates on 'Autumn' SAL May 2014

Howdy folks!

Apologies for lack of updates these days. I was not at my best condition to stitch. I am having terrible toothache which makes me unable to eat and sleep for a week now.  And guess what, all of my 'good friends' keep sending me their eating pictures!!! I am so pissed1 I want to eatttt and stitch. So I made Pumpkin Scone and Japanese Matcha (green tea) Sponge Cake to feed hubby! See how it turns out

They smell so good that I want to tuck in but hell no, my poor teeth might bleed. But I will come back STRONG.

Come back to the main topic :-D. I, anyhow, was able to have almost a page done this month. I want to have a completed page finished but I was not in a right mood. But see this guys, I want to jump in the picture, it really glows, doesn't it???

Updates on my current WIP: Magic Fire, Dunlee Darnum and Daenerys, tiny new start Impossibilium and STASH BAN BEGINS

Hi guys

I disapeared for a while, I know. I just really want to take my time and get something worthwhile to present on this blog.

OK, before posting pictures, I just want to announce that I am officially on a strict stash ban for a few months. BAN BAN BAN now sounds like BANG BANG BANG to me LOL. Pain in the *** So many lovely charts coming out from Tilton, Paine Free Crafts, Color Cascade and I am so torn for not  be able to get any of them. I have to squeeze budget for some personal matters. Anyway, meanwhile, I'll try to focus on my current W.I.P, to see whether I'll have another finish for this year.

Autumn SAL April Updates: not much done but more stash

Hi folks

Spring has sprung! Birds come to my window almost everyday to sing and tell me how beautiful it is when the sun is about to shine after a long long snowy winter. And I am so in the mood of enjoying the sunrise rather than ... well.. stitching 'Autumn'. A blob of dark red colors :((. I want something that I can smell SPRING. So I regret to say that I had abandoned this piece for a month, nope, not touching it at all until yesterday. So let me apologize if you're looking for a page done, I have only 800 stitches done this month and here it goes:

You can ask me what's the differences from last month? I know it looks not much different but I had one row done above the cellar. Does it look like a web of fire or smith? Lmao. By the way, do you notice there is a little cutie on the fabric? Just got this needle minder from No more lost needle - Lisa Simmons. It is very very handy and hold the chart/needles super well - Save me a lot of time picking up the chart while stitching.

Well, to increase my sin, I bought several new charts woohoo. I know I won't have several lives to finish them all but to satisfy my itchiness, just never mind lol

PROUDLY PRESENT: DANDELION CLOCK DANCE IS FINISHED!

Hope this post finds you all well. I was away for a while, to make this happen :D

Proudly present my first HAED finished: 'Dandelion Clock Dance' by Joanna Bromley. Stitched on 25 count even weave , 1 x 1 full cross.
Started date: 29 November 2012 Finished date: 3 April 2014.

Update on 'Autumn' SAL

Hi folks

Apologies for late update. I finally found my camera to upload the pics for you!

I spent a good amount of time this month to focus on stitching 'Autumn' because I know how much we want to see the cellar like I said in last post.

PAGE 49 FINISHED and PAGE 40 PROGRESS

So I have 2.3 pages done for this month report which means I caught up with my original plan. A lot of confetti appears in the area where the cellar locates but it is so worth it.

Updates on 'Magic Fire' by Esmira: Her face is done!!!

Hi guys,

Breaking news, smoking needle visited me and I got 4 pages more done on 'Magic Fire' since the last post. I'm super excited and would love to share with you this progress. Here she is:

So I have 6 pages done in total and 29 more to go. Not until now that I realize how big it is. She will be away for a while until next rotation. Now my question is should I move on stitching her hands and the fire oracle or the background.
